MARC mediations are cost-effective and transparent. The total cost payable by each party depends on whether the mediation is Domestic or International, and whether any party qualifies as an SME.
Your mediation is International if ANY of these apply:
✔ At least one party is based outside Mauritius
✔ The main obligations or subject matter relate to another State
✔ The parties expressly agree the dispute is international
If none apply, your mediation is Domestic.
If at least one party is a registered SME under the Mauritian SME Act:
→ Case Filing Fee is waived for all parties
→ Administrative Costs are reduced (Domestic & International)
SME must upload proof BEFORE calculation.

Mediator fees are billed per hour per party:
- Domestic: MUR 3,000/hour
- International: USD 90/hour
Additional disbursements may apply:
- travel & accommodation
- meeting room rental
- interpreters / translators
- transcription
- technology support
These are billed at cost.
